When the Greeks invented the Olympics, they never thought that one day a man named Usain Bolt would break two world records or that the 2010 Olympics would be held in Vancouver. We are sure that they never thought than in 2009 that Borokeete Nex Generation Mas Band would pay tribute to the Olympics on the Lakeshore, jamming to soca music.

The name Borokeete stands for consistency and quality. The legacy, the reigns and reputation have been handed over with that in mind. Anthony Joseph Borokeete Nex Generation present 20Ten, the tribute to the Olympics for Caribana 2009.

JMC 3 Veni with Borokeete for Caribana 2009

The World’s #1 Crossover Band Jmc 3veni is still going at it for 2K9, with no time to rest. 3veni had a magnificent start to the year, performing at many of the Carnival, Chutney Soca, and All inclusive events along with being on the Road with 3 time Band of the Year winner Trini Revellers.

After Carnival, the band set off for their once again successful European tour passing through Holland, France & Belgium. Jmc 3veni agrees it was their best experience of them all in Europe this year, having performed at Europe’s largest Caribbean event, the Pleasure Paas Party, alongside International superstars Brian McKnight and Jagged Edge.

Following Europe, the band touched based at home, performing locally before they headed out for the annual Mothers Day Tour in NYC at the Maracas & River Nightclubs.

With no time to spare, Jmc 3veni is getting ready for their annual Caribana Tour in Toronto, Canada. The band says goodbye to Trinidad & Tobago in the middle of July for a month and a half, already booked for many of the biggest events in Toronto for the Season, followed by a trip to NYC for Labour Day Carnival. Jmc 3veni promises to come home in September, before they head out for Miami Carnival 2K9.
